Building Systems

The Moelven Building Systems division consists of the following business areas: Laminated Timber, Building Modules, Interior Systems and Electrical Services.

The companies in the Building Systems division supply flexible system solutions for interior walls, modular buildings, electrical installations and laminated timber load bearing constructions for project customers and contractors primarily in Norway and Sweden, but also in Denmark for some parts of the range.
The division invests heavily in developing concepts and systems together with customers and architectural, design and building experts. Most of the division’s products and system solutions are environment-friendly alternatives to traditional materials and solutions.

Laminated Timber, Building Modules and System Interiors are market leaders in Sweden and  Norway. Turnover totalled MNOK 2,748 in 2008. As of the beginning of 2009, the Building Systems division has 1,512 employees, of which 871 are in Norway, 638 in Sweden and 3 in England.

Laminated timber

Moelven is the leading producer of glulam in Norway and Sweden with two plants in Norway and one in Sweden.

Building modules

Moelven is Scandinavia’s leading producer of modular buildings. Production takes place indoors in four factories in Sweden and one in Norway.

Interior systems

Interior Systems consists of two market leading companies - Moelven Nordia AS in Norway and Moelven Eurowand AB in Sweden.

Electrical services

Moelven Elektro carries out the planning, installation, servicing and maintenance of high and low voltage systems in Norway.
