Wood is the only renewable building material universally available.
Our timber comes from sustainable forestry practises, in the economic sense as well as seen from social and ecological aspects. All Moelven sawmills are therefore “Chain Of Custody” certified to PEFC, the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification, the most widely used and acknowledged forestry certification system in the world.
In addition all our sawmills have kilning capacity to KD mark their total production, and we of course also meet the criteria in ISPM 15 re packaging material.
Moelven mills producing construction whitewood are CE certified for stress rated load bearing.
